    Hello Kevin that neg strap runs to the minus on the battery I think if I rember right I diverted it there after seeing a post on here after I refurbished the motor a while ago, either way it works just fine with an extra relay

    I was happily applying the required torque on the lower stud on the starter motor and this happens😏 just asking as I can't find any info of the required oversize helicoil fitting for the M8 now as it seems to already have one fitted? or maybe not? as it has an outside circumverence of the same...
