    Been a few years....

Why would anyone reminisce regarding being dirty and filthy ? I certainly do not want to think of anyone as taking a bath on Friday night , rather daily as you elude to later in your response. The later would be a lot more sensitive towards most folks scruples reflecting cleanliness. I hope...

EEEUUUUUWWWWW ! I can't agree with you people ! If I had to get that nasty/dirty to ride , I believe that I would just stay home ! Riding is certainly fun but feeling that icky would pretty much squash the fun for me. Somebody said , "Different strokes for different folks" and I could not...

    Exhaustive thinking

I believe that muffler companies are out there to sell mufflers and requiring a tune would pretty much put the muffler price out of reach. Most bikes will run OK ( not necessarily better) if you swap for a more open exhaust. Then --- when you throw in an open intake , you are really tempting...

    Newbie

Yeah , it is a balmy ten degrees F. here in Reno , Nevada USA . Welcome , and I wish you would bring some of that Australian "winter" up here !

    Exhaustive thinking

The only way to find out if it will work is to invest in a dyno run and see what the performance gain will be using a muffler that was not designed for a 2500 cc engine ! Like someone said before , "Hobbies are as expensive as you will make them!" It looks good and probably will sound...

Looks a whole lot like the D&D exhaust that Harley owners have coveted for many years. I always liked the upswept look ! It looks "classy" without be weird !

I have said for a long time that supply and demand " should " cure the gougers in our free market enterprise ! At present that theory does not hold water. Maybe that is why our economy is so fouled up.........I am certainly NOT a very good economist ; and would probably not be able to...

    New Tail Tidy

Yes I have known a few X-employees from the H.D. dealership that tried the Triumph dealer here for employment ; didn't work out very well ! The Yuill Bros. were true "gentlemen" as opposed to the new owners ! The new guys are ruining the name "Triumph" and all associated brand...

    New Tail Tidy

Iam sad to inform you that the old Yuill Bros. Triumph Dealership has been sold ! You may not have such a soft spot for the newest dealer. They are the dealership I have referred to in my posts regarding the Triumph Dealer of Reno................

    New Tail Tidy

I do one of the three choices ! I can't take it out for air due to the air around here this time of year being frozen like everything else. I dare not ride the bike for the same reasons. Just know that I do sit on my little R3 to keep it warm and to please me !......It does get some attention...

    Been a few years....

I sort of liken the cost of saddlebags to most other equipment for most hobbies as being , as you refer, too expensive but to stay in the game one has to expect a little pain ! I have the Triumph bags with the Triumph supports for them , they function well , and thank goodness I only had to...

    New Tail Tidy

Hey , Frosty Rider ; I like the front and the rear turn indicators appearance as they are positioned. The reason I want the tidy tail is not so much for aesthetics - as the problem I continue to encounter with the rear turn indicators being bashed due to their relatively low mounted position...

    my rocket 3 gt nightmare

You all are lucky------ My father bought a brand new triumph Rocket III in 2012 and the engine blew before he got 1000 miles on it. He was riding along with about 1000 miles on his bike , still being aware of break in procedures and not pushing it at all when he got an oil bath. Oil began...
