    RECALL Heads up

Hasn't hit US yet but it's coming. 2014-15 Rockets involved. http://blog.motorcycle.com/2014/11/21/manufacturers/triumph/2014-2015-triumph-models-recalled-ecu-problem/

R3T batwing fairing from Reckless Motorcycles.

That'd be really difficult I think. The front of the fairing isn't load bearing. It's held to the inner fairing by the 3 bolts across the top (where the windshield is held in place sandwiched between the inner and outer fairing), and 4 bolts on the back side. All the structural mounts are on the...

R3T batwing fairing from Reckless Motorcycles.

Yeah, but I'd have to see it in person to form a legit opinion, photos can deceive. The fairing doesn't seem to flow with the pull back of the bars. The side profile sorta has a road glide (frame mounted fairing) look to it at the top. Like I said before tho, if it does the job then it does...

R3T batwing fairing from Reckless Motorcycles.

That reckless looks like an Electra Glide batwing with bracketry to fit the r3t. Doesn't flow particularly well with the lines of rocket. But if it works that's what matters!

Has anyone rode one of these?

I never said CG, or engine cg was factor número uno. Just said it plays a role along with front end geometry, suspension, tires, frame rigidity, actual bike weight and so on.

Has anyone rode one of these?

The heaviest part of a motorcycle is the engine. Obviously the lower the cg of the engine the lower the overall cg of the bike. The lower the cg the easier it is to "flick" a bike, or transition from a left curves to a right curve for example. There are other significant factors that play a big...

    This couldn't be more inaccurate.

Has anyone rode one of these?

Motorcycle ET is affected by the rider a lot. Not saying that the Indian is faster, just saying that the rider may have been clueless. Best way to compare is to have the same rider ride each back to back.

Has anyone rode one of these?

I guess I'm crazy cuz I like the looks of the R3, some HD's and the new Indians as well as a bunch of other bikes. I appreciate bikes for what they're intended to do and think if they all looked the same it'd be pretty boring out there. I wouldn't wanna go ride dirt and muddy roads on my Electra...

If I had to go 3 wheeler, can-am spyder would be my choice.

Has anyone rode one of these?

I hear ya, That's why I decided to get an Electra Glide. If Triumph had something along these lines of bikes I could've had my cake and eat it too, but they don't so I had to go with what was most important and practical for us. I'll try to ride both and report back on the differences between them.

I don't think it'll be much different than the Chieftan riding wise other than a bit more wind protection with the lower fairing. The Indian demo truck is coming to my area next weekend, I'm gonna try to get down there saturday morning. If I don't report back remind me.
