    02 sensor eliminator

    I'm running a PCV with auto tune installed. Have an engine light on from where I disconnected the factory 02 sensor and harness. I was not sent an eliminator plug. My question is can I just disable the 02 sensor with tune ECU instead of buying an eliminator plug for the factory harness?

    09 roadster starting

    It's really not a big deal if it's taking a few seconds to start in cold weather. My 2011 R3T usually starts on the 2 or 3 turn. Mine was slower with my old battery and the new battery is upgraded to one with higher cranking amps. There are large engine for a battery to kick over when cold.

    I did not. I'm relatively new at tune ecu as well. I am still using the factory 02 sensor for now until I change exhaust eventually. Just have a Ram Air on it now.

    20352 is the map I used. It's listed on the tune ecu list under the roadster. After looking at options this seamed like the best option. My bike is the last year of no abs so that I don't know. BTW you can reset adaptations inside TuneEcu instead of doing that 12 minute tune!

    I've ridden it now about 200 miles and the roadster tune works great. Noticeable change in the mid range. Motors are the exact same. They just tune them different.

    I saved factory map and it did load the roadster map. Started right up and sounds fine. Been pouring rain in NC for 3 days so no road test yet!

    If the compression ratios and internals are the same then I think this will be safe. I don't ride 2 up anyone and just want the extra power.

    I have a 2011 Touring. Has anyone dropped the map for the Roadster to a touring model? Are the engines the same?

    Good Advice I went with Mobile One 4T 10w-40, and I ordered a M1-110 filter even though the site says it won't fit! Thanks for the input everyone! ;)

    There are a lot of synthetic oils to use. I have a 2011 Rocket Touring and want to change the oil before less frequent winter rides. I've never owned a bike with a sump or wet clutch. I hear a lot good about Amsoil and don't care about the cost, i just want to protect my investment with the best...
