    Also check your ground from the battery is solid, clean and tight. The amps from the battery go back to the battery thru the ground point on the frame, if it's weak you'll only get a click because the amps can't be passed thru the circuit.

    The measurement eye to eye is the key factor. If they are no more than 1 inch longer than OEM they can be made to fit with the right adapters.

    Update on my dud of a rocket.

    The tank pressurizing isn't a huge problem. Do you have the evap canister on your bike? It could be a check valve installed backwards.
