    It makes me wonder if the ABS cylinder is leaking thru. It may not have any external leaks but if the piston has a leak path, you'll get spongy brakes.

    No MIL light would seem to indicate the ECU isn't the problem. Try reconnecting the coils low voltage wires and see if that gets it spinning.

    Your best bet might be a salvage yard or eBay. They aren't super cheap, but they sometimes have good used parts that are in better shape than yours...

    Probably. If the coil is getting the low voltage and not discharging the high voltage it may not throw an error code.

    It's funny, I have a quick shifter on my Speed Triple that I almost never use (old clutch habits are hard to break). Can't see a need to put one on my Rocket.

    If you're concerned about burning the oil, pull a spark plug and check the electrode for carbon buildup. If none found, then it's not burning oil, most likely a leak or oil hung up in the galleys. The rings should have seated in the first 600 miles.

    Probably in the sump. The engine has to run about a minute before you check the oil level. If there's no oil dripping anywhere and the exhaust cans are clean, you probably aren't losing/burning oil.

    Makes me curious how much preload you had on the original unit. Your weight would suggest you needed to add some preload and probably back off the compression/rebound damping. My weight requires I add a LOT of preload and have NO compression/rebound damping. That's the way I set up the stock...
