    I would surmise that what you have going on is decel pop on off throttle. The stock exhaust is engineered to muffle the pop so it's not annoying. To get a better picture of your issue can you state the model and year of your Rocket and what the tune currently loaded is?

    No. You need to run the 'switch check' to reinstate cruise control. Turn the ignition to the fuel prime but do NOT start the engine. Then in sequence actuate the clutch lever to the bar, then the front brake, the rear brake, then roll the throttle full off, activate the cruise rocker forward...
