    I had to use some low grade fuel out in Nova Scotia and suffered poor performance and continous stalling at idle. Cured itself when higher grade fuel found.

    In the long gone days when I rode a motorbike (Winter 05/6) I used a Widder sleeveless jerkin and gloves: bought mail-order in US. Like G-man I put the controller in the pocket on the Triumph leather tank cover and then hooked up to the plug on my jerkin; gloves piggy-backed on from there...

    Thanks TF - that is definitely where the overflow exited ... rear of engine block .... I checked the fan relay under the side panel to see if there was any sign of chafing: it's quite crowded in there with the alarm siren - aux. power cable etc but nothing showing - I shall check machine today...
