Richard what you attempted could have very easily turned out to be a monstrously ugly appendage to a masterpiece of a motorcycle. You have, in my opinion, achieved what even the engineers and designers at Triumph would envy! Congratulations and thank you for sharing.

1986 Suzuki GS1150 EF. was my first bike. At the time i thought it was all the power in the world.

I am going to give it a shot. WadeJesu made a very valid point about the fact that the PCV requires you to ride around with the module under the seat. Will keep everyone posted as i make progress. Thanks for all the feedback.

Thank you Sir for the clarification! Understood. I just have to get the courage to try this on my own.

The pillion is much taller than stock and raises the seat height and is much more wider and comfortable. For the rider, the seat is “carved out” deeper at the rear and is more comfortable for the back. Rider seat height position is lowered slightly by 1/2”

I wish i could. I am just not tech savvy enough for Penner’s process. And i am aware the reviews and comments from those that have used Penner‘s mapping are very positive. I just have an urge to do do something that let’s this beast breath a little better. Every time I crack to WOT i can tell...

Just go to the corbin website. I ordered the heated seat option and optional rider backrest which is removeable. Total all in was $1,354.00 CDN. Most comfortable seat ever. Have taken on long rides and 7hrs+ in the saddle. Would not have been able to do that with the stock seat.

Has anyone had any experience with the new power commander 5 module for the R3? Apparently this unit is now available and ready to allow form throttle tuning on the new Rocket? Advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

No video of that run. Traction control was on. The R3 will spin the tires all the way in to 3rd gear so it makes no sense to turn off the technology that will increase acceleration.

Forgot to mention that i did not get to 6th gear in any of the runs. End of the 1/4 mile always came up topped out in 5th gear. R3 generally speaking has very tall gears.

Great suggestion. The Corbin seat comes with a backrest for the rider and i left it at home. 😂😂😂 thanks for the suggestions, i will try it.

I managed to get 12 passes in and each one got better. Except one pass near the end of the day where i thought i could handle launching at about 3500 rpm. The front wheel came up about 2 feet and nearly pulled my arms out of their sockets. I did not panic and powered through it but it was not my...

Yes hit rev limiter in 2nd. There is no need to get on the revs with this machine. Max power and torque as anyone can see in posted Dyno charts occurs below 6,000 rpm. So there is no benefit to going well beyond that. Grip on track was phenomenal. Like Velcro. Video was not of my fastest time...
