Claw cut for triple filters

I cut the extra claw today to show off the filters, here's how it turned out...





Maybe I should have cut more off, what do you think?

I like it alot. Looks clean without saying to much. And I'm sure it does the job as well. I do wonder about these exsposed air filters in a down pour. Are they going to suck water into the engine? Just a thought.

Yea, I thought about that too ... thats why I didn't cut it higher. I think it would look better with more cut off, but I thought it should at least have a roof over its head.

Help ... I need to choose a color.

I need to decide on a sock color for the filters. Please give me your opinion on what color to choose, Yellow, Red, Blue, Black, Lime Green, Orange or Purple. I am asking for help because I am well aware that I have poor fashion savey and questionable taste.

What color is your jacket or your hemet? Do you have any lights or plan on getting any? Otherwise, I don't think it matters to any one but you. I personaly like the red or the yellow. Something that kind of catches the eye.

I do believe that Flip told me one time, that a properly oiled filter will reject any and all water.
