Edit: Never mind- I see you are referring to the 2.3 Roadster. For that, as others have recommended, an old laptop and Windows 7 is the way to go.
Four years ago I got a refurbished Android Tablet pretty cheap to work with the OBDLink LX. Works fine and when traveling I can use it to check mail and watch Netflix in the tent when touring.
This one is unavailable (too old), but I'd recommend looking into something similar for travel and multi purpose use...
