Has anyone out there put the throttlemeister on their Rocket? How well does it work? I need something so my hand doesn't go numb after a couple of hours of riding.

I have the Throttlemeister on my R3T, It works fine. I did not know about the Break Away Cruise Control system before and although it cost more, I would now choose the Break Away over the Throttlemeister.
The installation of the Throttlemeister is much easier but the Break Away is just plain a better choice. Take a look at the website, they have a great video demo.
McRocket. Thanks for the information. I looked at the website and noticed that the Breakaway cannot be used with any heated handlegrips. I got them on my bike just in case. Bummer, the breakaway looks like it's easy to use. Will keep looking.
i had the break away throttle lock on my victory and it was a pain in the ass to get it to work correctly and it never stayed adjusted long before you had to futts with it again and again i will have to look in to this other throttle lock !!
I have the smaller throttlemeister ends with heated grips. I like that they look stock and totally blend in with the bike. I was very tempted to get the larger ones with the grooves, I hear they are even easier to work with just a little finger. They are supposed to be better at dampening the vibrations too, maybe the mirrors would be more usable over 3000 rpm with them.
Earlier in a different post I stated that I found a lock washer that I dropped on the floor when I changed my mirrors and it fixed my vibration in the new mirrors. That is not correct. They are still loosening up due to the vibration also. I will get the larger throttlemeisters (heavy) and hopefully they will help with the vibration like it states in the advertisement.
Save your money and do Flipper's .50 cent mod. It's essentially the same principle as the TM, but cost a BUNCH less. Instructions are in here; use the search function.
Had a Throttlemeister on my Royal Star and loved it. It does need to be carefully tweaked during the installation, but once you get it set right, just remove the end bolt, add locktite, rescrew the bolt and you're ready to go. It just looks like a nice set of bar ends, and works as advertised. Even cuts down on the handlebar vibes.
