Here's a twist. Yesterday I was out riding with son-in-law Tom and we stopped at a gas station in Roanoke so he could fill up. I was parked next to him at the pump on my Rocket and a guy leaving from the convenience store pulled up and stopped next to my bike, the driver then rolled down his passenger window and asked me, "Hey, how do you like that bike?" I wasn't sure what he was asking me so I said, "It's one of my favorite Triumphs." He then went into a story of how he's been looking at Triumphs and Ducati's for awhile and he was currently riding a Harley. I responded that Triumph's naked sport bikes like Tom's Speed Triple were a lot of fun and that I too had a ST like Tom's only mine was a 1200. I then went into why I enjoyed my Rocket 3 so much, the power, handling, comfort etc. When he brought up his Harley again my resposne was, "You'll be really amazed at how much power your Harley doesn't have when you ride one of these." I then went on to tell him that the Rocket is restricted from the factory in Sport Mode and that with TuneECU it's easy to remove that restriction and get full power. His parting words were, "OK you convinced me, I'm getting one." He then rolled up his window and drove away. After that encounter Tom and I rolled over to Dutch Bros. Coffee and got us a cold brew. It left me wondering which model bike he was going to get?

amazing bike,

only one issue for me,

takes forever from 145mph to reach 186mph

145mph is pretty easy to climb

up to 145mph its very easy to reach just like another super sports bike, but after 145mph, they are gone while I am behind,

that is the only downside else its a prefect bike.
