My gen 1 back brake is excellent. I just cleaned it, greased it and put new pads in. They are EBC Sintered. Just worn in now, after about 50 miles of city journeys. Put your foot down; it will lock up the back wheel, if you want. The setup is very simple on these, so what is the issue with the newer Rockets?
Weird, if it's gradual, it might be letting air in. Is it better after a bleed? Apparently my gen 1 Standard does it on the front, going by what is said on the UK forums. They say it's the master cylinder being too small. The cure is a Roadster one. My lever nearly touches the grip, stood still. Yet it brakes fine while rolling.
