I bought the exact bike you're looking at this past August. My dealer offered me 20% off of any accessories that I bought at that time. So, I got the passenger backrest and luggage rack. See if your dealer will offer you a discount on accessories!

Hello Tgarney from a displaced Texan in Virginia. I took me a whole year before I hit 20K miles, that's plenty enough time to save some coke money for that valve adjustment check if you don't want to do it yourself. I figured all the money I saved from not buying a new RoadKing is worth the cost of R3T ownership. Besides, Harley shop maintenance is not cheap either. And you'll love the Rocket far more than a HD...

Welcome from sunny Essex in the UK

There are accessory's available but not as easy to find as Harley stuff i guess and the R3 might now be out of production so doesn't help

I wouldn't worry to much about adjusting valves as 20k is just a check and I would bet they wont need adjusting any way Triumph were a bit conservative with the 20k check

I my advise would be get it out on the open road on a test ride and open it up I think these issue might suddenly become irrelevant especially if you used to Harley power

Welcome from Canada
And there is a comparable HD?
Get on it and enjoy it, eventually you will be able to determine what accessories you would like on it, and you should be able to find almost anything, might take some searching, but you may even find things you didn't know you needed, but suddenly have to have anyway, sort of like the RocketIII grill I have on the front of my rad, didn't know it existed until I ran across it searching for something else, and yea had to have it, and it looks good with the Union Jack behind it, I don't think the picture in my avatar shows it

Welcome from Maine, as others have said, you can find all the things you desire. As far a PM is concerned, learn as you go. A little at a time does it. Many here are doing most of their own work. I personally have had too many bad experiences with the steeler ships. It might take me a while sometimes to figure something out, but the help from the forum is just great, download the manuel and things come together quite nicely.
