Its wet, it rained last night. I road it down to the gas station to fuel it up before trailering it for my trip this weekend.
Edit: I just went out there to look for a 'missing fastener' but I can't see one.
Where it sticks out in that right side corner, there is a hose there, leading down to (or up from) a little liquid reservoir.
When I can get it up on the lift in my garage, I'm going to take that cover/grille off to see in better details whats going on behind it.
I'm just at the gf's house right now, as we leave tomorrow for New Orleans.
I thought I'd just ask here, as if its a common thing, it would save me thinking about it over the weekend.
Nope, no pebbles. I even went out to double-check. I think it’s just the way the sunlight is hitting it while it’s still wet.
Not only did it rain last night, but the dealership also handed it over dirty. I washed it (I say washed, but I just sprayed it down with the hose) after taking those photos and didn’t see any pebbles then either.
Thats possible; but it hasn't been running much. I took it on a short ride to get a feel for it (which I did stop several times to take photo and admire it) , and then a super short ride to the gas station and back this morning.. so It hasn't been running non-stop for hours or anything.
Although that thing does heat up stupid fast after starting, but I would assume if thats the case - wouldn't all over them warp? at least from my year model since the material would be the same? For the price of it, they did skimp out on the material - hell the front fender is some type of plastic. Even on my much much cheaper bikes, the fenders are metal.
