Dag mensen ,ik ben nieuw hier dus sorry als ik fouten maak.
Ik heb een rocket 3 uit 2005 met 8000 km op de teller gewoon een nieuwe ding.
Nu zitten er sportuitlaten onder deze zien er hetzelfde uit als de originele alleen inwendig zijn ze ander.
Ik heb een gebruikte RVS kathalisator vervanger kunnen bemachtigen op internet en wil deze onder deze motor bouwen,kan dat zomaar of moet er dan iets aangepast worden met de software??
Ik heb gelezen dat je de motor stationair moet laten lopen zonder gas te geven totdat de fan aanslaat zo ongeveer 10 tot 15 min.
Dan afzetten en hij resett zichzelf,en dat is alles of moet er nog meer aangepast worden met de software??wie kan me daarbij bij helpen B.V.D

The best way to go would be to have a new tune put into the ECU with either tuneboy, power commander or tune ecu software, but in the meantime, use the Triumph 12 minute tune to reset your adaptives.

Using no throttle, start the engine from cold, wait until you hear the radiator fan start up, then time 12 minutes without touching anything. After 12 minutes, turn off using the ignition key.

Yes you need to tune it mate! the dealer can put in a Triumph tune, but it won't be great... However there's lots of maps around for TORS ( the pipes) & cat replacement.

when i do this only the 12 minutes reset, will there be no harme for my bike,is it possible to drive only by doing this???or shoud i contact my dealer to do the perfect tune?? thank you.
 
It will be OK to ride to your dealer, but it would be by far the best to do this and get him to put in a new tune for you.

ADVICE.... get tuneboy or tuneecu( the free one) There is a tutorial in the tech section of this forum on how to use Tuneboy+ installing it.Either of these software tools will allow you to load a good tune straight into the bike, at home ( BETTER than the dealers Triumph tune range) You would be perfectly safe to leave the bike like that, or go further towards perfection , by dyno tuning. Each bike is different in small ways, so there's always gains to be made by a good tuner.
 
very simpel,you take away the cathalisator and put a pipe holder who fits the 3 exhaust pipe's together instead of the catahalist,when you google and fill in triumph rocket 3 parts than you will find cathalist replacement , in the shop they ask 499 euro for is ,i become one on the internet 20 kilometers from my home for just 70 euro',it is stainless steel so it is still looks like new,i don't no how to put a picture here other wise i will show it to you.
