Harley2,
I use to ride harleys,
but that's another story for another time.
I'm xhdskip aka skip.
i sold, gave away, or threw away a lot of harley parts when I switched brand loyalty.
Some of which I'd wish I kept when I started moddin' my '07 to make it mine....
Got a fair amount of harley parts on mine now.
Mirrors, risers, handlebars, etc......

My shed it full of stuff from past bikes/cars that I need to eBay off. The generic stuff I will keep in case I can fit it up on a new bike. First item there will be to see if I can make a rack to fit the Harley tour pack to a quick disconnect rack on the Roadster.
Ultimately, I want to put a set of Corbin Beetle Bags on it, but I am looking at other options as they are quite pricy (but they do fit quite nicely).
Ordered up a shield to modify to fit the Roadster, picked up a decent backpack to use till I get storage on it.
The biggest down side to the swap, is the loss of packing space.
My ten bike garage (the one in my head) would certainly include a nice HD. I've had quite a few. Easy to tinker with. Sound nice. Perfectly reliable too these days. Fine within their parameters.
If I could only have one bike though....? Naaa. Wouldn't be a HD.
And this is kinda where I am. I have had multiple bikes for quite some time. Finally sold my R1200 GSA a few months back and will sell off the Harley in the next 6 months. Get down to just the Roadster. Mainly doing this as I have my second child headed to college in just over a year so I am gearing up for the cost increase (still paying for the first one).
Bought the wife an '02 Corvette for our 30th anniversary so we had something we both enjoyed (she does not ride). So the Vette and the Roadster will be good stablemates while I go through the horrid cost of kids in college.
Well that and paying for Obamacare. I did the numbers on my life, health and vehicle insurance and about fell over. I just topped $22k per year in insurance cost alone. That is just beyond stupid. Two sub-25 year olds driving plus health insurance is a massive drain.
