The local dealer in Christchurch has picked up 19 pallets of older Rocket stuff and has the back rest and seats.
Also running lights brand new in the dusty box manufactured 06 for $300 NZ half price.

Waiting for them to sort out what they have and do a bulk buy for even more savings.

Don't no where it all came from but have heaps.

Sounds good...be interesting to see what’s available. May even be worth a trip over with an empty suitcase!

So, I should get the Classic by the end of this week. I have always admired the big capacity bikes so have finally decided to buy one. It's a 2006 Classic with a bit if love needed but the motor and gearbox is good and the aesthetics should be easy to fix...I am looking to put some sort of box on the back...heaps available from the USA but Australia is a difficult and expensive place to buy from...any ideas?

Had better head off to Bed got a about 500 km ride in tomorrow or even if I push it 650km. Off to the Bert Munro Rally in Invercargill I will be 3 days early but have a lot of rallies to catch up with as in my home town of Invercargill.

So will be out of town for the next week but will give them a call during the week and see if they can email a list to me.

Jason, welcome from Maine, yes a box on the back is handy, but harms the good looks, I know I have one for our little day trips, very handy, just not so pretty. Easy to go on and off though.

The seat with the backrest slot is available, but strangely, the back rest isnt! How screwed up is that? It seems like there are much more options available in the good old USA, shipping is murderous for us here in Oz!
