Differentials.
I liked that. There has been times in my life where I have popped off a differential cover for varying reasons; stared at it; muttered; and then shook my head and put it all back together.

NOW, I kinda know what da hell it's doing in there....

I've always been able to look at some thing and grasp the concept quickly. What I always marvel at is the guys that figure out the first ones. Syncros in manual transmissions is another one.
