Your right there Ray, we here in the UK should try a meet up some time, a few have said that they are up for it if someone will organise it. My problem lies with my wife's ill health & I cannot leave her alone, so my time is governed by carers being with her. However if anyone wants to meet up I can make Friday's which means in your case a mid way point of around Birmingham/Midlands. I was supposed to meet Stuvin at some point but above reasons haven't so far let me arrange it. A great place for a meet is the Raven cafe which is at the junction of the A41/A49 south of Whitchurch. Of course it's an easy ride for me, a lot easier for Hooky & a lot more difficult for most others, but it is fairly central & lends itself to some good rides venturing into Wales. If anyone is interested post on this thread & we'll see what can be done, suppose I should turn up on the Rocket & not the ZZR 1400 if anything comes of this :D

Hey Jack
I don't see why you couldn't use the Sackakaki :D iv'e raised the Rocket to be polite
and she doesn't mind mixing with riff raff..albeit for a short time ;)

Rayjay...I am really sorry we didn't get to get together last year due to what happened.

It would really be great to just pack up go on a trip to meet up with different Rocket/Triumph riders without having that darn ocean to contend with.

Maybe one day I'll make another stab at going overseas again and I will make sure that I try to visit London for more than a couple of days and meet up with you.

As for "working" overseas...I didn't think that I'd be thinking of going back over to the sandbox...but if I don't get a job by the beginning of the year...I may be looking to do just that...again.

Dennis

Me too Dennis it was a tough time..hope you and yours are well

I'm sure we can arrange something, Met up with Hooky some months ago thats when we considered a meet up, not heard from him since & not seen him posting on the forum, I have E mailed him a couple of times but not had reply, hope he's ok. Well see what happens if anything from this thread & arrange some kind of meet. The Bridge run would still have happened think it's mainly H.D.'s can't remember when it is/was maybe October.

Think the bridge run is this weekend, just wanted to show 'em what a real bike looks like ;) Keep in touch Cap'n

Skip, are you sure you are not a Mexican trying to act white? you know all the right words:D

Shhhhh,
it's a secret, don't want ICE to find me,
I'm undercover as a redneck...
TOP SECRET, trying to infiltrate the Pentecostals, Charismatic movement.
I used an American Redneck song for my inspiration on how to do it.
You can too if ya listen to the song.

I'm stuffed here aren't I with no retort, to me the Rocket is the dogs bollocks so what can I say, I shall maintain standards & show on the Rocket, to be honest I couldn't ride too far on the Kwaka it would cripple me now at my age, & one in the family is quite enough. And by the way Ray the biggest & bad-est bike on the road is never polite, you mock me sir!

Do not they have a big rally at the triumph factory every year.

If they do they do a lousy job of letting us know because I've never heard of it. Be good to have something R3 specific though but you know us Brits, crap at organising stuff (and I include myself in that!)

Yeah Guy's
I've been on the dealers list now for a couple of years for a factory tour..it seems very
limited or nobody gives a fu@? and as far as i'm aware you can't just arrive at the
factory you have to go through the dealer..same old story really they take your money
and you know the rest :(

Ray

I was going to try and visit the factory in August of 2010 and after e-mailing found out that the next "tour" wasn't till October...not very good for a public relations standpoint... one of the few things about Triumph that I didn't care for.
