Bungee Nuts

For those of you who tour with the Standard or Classic and carry packs rather than saddlebags: I just could not find a place on the rear half on which to anchor bungees or straps. The solution is to reverse the direction on the bolts holding the fender to the fender struts and have them come from the inside out. You can get bungee nuts (you'll need two chrome 8mm and two 10mm), use stainless or chrome washers, and torque them down over the bolts.
You now have 4 anchoring points for bungees which are strong as hell and will keep paint from any damage. I'm not sure from which aftermarket company I got them..I think it was Drag Specialties.
