I remember seeing a photo when Malcolm's Quasar was shown in one of the bike magazines for the very first time.
I thought it was very space age at the time.
A very cool looking machine especially with it's striking colour and graphics.
The Quasar inspired me to try to learn about frame & suspension design.
I still have one book to hand in my office titled 'Motorcycle Chassis Design: The Theory and Practice' by Tony Foale and Vic Willoughby. ISBN 0-85045-560-X

There was a guy named Craig Vetter of Illinois(local Boy), he would sponser a mileage run every year, that would feature many FF bikes with elaborate fairings in persuit of comfort and fuel economy....
