Hi

Whats the max angle l/R before the pegs hit the ground ???

Vic

40 seems a lot to me ??
I scrape the pegs occasionally.
Don't think I would with 40° to spare

for a V-rod the angles are 32° / 32° (SAE J1168 )

I suspect the number for a rocket must be more in that vicinity.

all harley bikes have a narrower width--bottom rail width for them--than the huge width on the r3. angle should be measured from the centerline of bike. that's what you lean over going into a turn. all other measurements are irrelevant. r3's tranny, etc. extend it out further than any bike out there. --john

Worn mine away so much that I had to drill the remains out , as no hex head left to get spanner on . :?
Very easy to do on the roads around hear , just replaced mine with titanium blobs , sparks better now . On some days when i get a little carried away , can scrape the footpeg rails , and the exhaust on the right . Bit nerve racking that , makes the bike make funny shapes
