Dawn and I are looking at getting some riding in on Saturday, the 27th of September. I was looking at the Llano area for this.. Cooper's BBQ and Willow City Loop, as this is a central point for Snuff, RidinSunshine, and me.

However, if some of you SouthEast folk want to hook up as well, we might could look at something more central to all of us, like Bryan/College Station or something. Just shopping for ideas..
 
Dave, you and Dawn aren't staying the night in the area are you? Probably going home to kids and critters, right? Cause Bear and I could ride Sunday.

There is a road between Marble Falls and Burnet you can turn on that takes you down past one of those bat caves and ends up at Inks Lake. Just watch the curves cause we have been known to see deer standing in the middle of the road. And with those hills you can't see very far ahead you when going around those curves.

I think we're only going to be able to do a day ride Saturday. I have a call in to Dawn right now to discuss this..(She's popular, I have to make an appointment!.. lol )

She's been getting alot of comments about how much she looks like Sarah Palin. We were in line at a Saturday and Sarah Palin was on one of the magazine covers, and I have to say the people are right!!!! lol We just need to get her a big square set of glasses and have her start wearing business suits.. lol

Marble Falls is half way between Snuff and me, and not far for you guys either.. Looks like they have some pretty good places to eat there as well.. :)

I thought Dawn was a red head? I don't visualize her as looking like Palin. But then again I haven't seen her in awhile. Better than her looking like Hilary :D

Yeh, there is a place in Marble Falls that makes great coconut shrimp. Afraid we haven't eatin at too many other places there.

Ok. Well let me know. Don't think I will be home until 1am Saturday night from my trip. But I am starved for scooter rides right now. So will happily lose some sleep to meet up with you guys Sunday.

Dawn was dying her hair red for a while. Thank goodness she came to her senses and leaves her hair alone now. (Why do women have to mess with perfectly good hair?) Her hair is actually multi-colored, brown with some blonde and some red thrown in for good measure.

I just got off the phone with Dawn and we're only going to be able to do a day ride Saturday. She said she REALLY wants to see Marble Falls, so that's what we're planning. Working out good too. One kid has a spend-the-night birthday party that Friday night/Saturday day. The other will most likely spend the night at a friends house as well..

So kidless night Friday night.. and get the bikes out for a ride and meet with friends Saturday! Hope the weather holds out now.. lol
 
I just re-read my message. I didn't type it clearly. What I meant to say was that my flight gets in around 10pm Saturday, so won't be home till around 1am Sunday. So could ride with you Sunday. Oh well maybe next time.:eek:
