When you purchase Tuneboy, you pay almost $500 for the software and a supplied cable. You still have to supply the laptop.
When you get TuneECU, you download it for free and purchase a cable for $20. You supply the laptop.
For the regular joe's among us, TuneECU does everything that Tuneboy does except it is $480 cheaper. It takes the true exotic professionals to be able to do anything more with Tuneboy (multi-maps, etc.).
As far as exhausts, the Jardines are the standard, mid-cost solution. Very good sound but can tend to be on the too loud side. Good power increase.
You can go exotic with the Carpenter solution or locate a used set of Preds out there but be prepared to pay dearly for them. Power increase is significant but at a steep price, imho.
Triumph Off Roads (TORs) are affordable but I don't care for the sound. My brother has the TORs and they tend to "bark" which I don't care for.
I have the Staintunes on mine. Moderate power return, good sound without being too loud, quiet at highway cruise. On the pricey side which makes me glad that the previous owner bought them.
Others are out there.
just my 2c.
