I have two close friends in Aukland who just lost their Jack Russell from an illness. Not sure if they have replaced him. They called him No Nads.

My 12 lb. miniature dachshund rides with me every day. When my wife rides she comes along as well. She loves it and if I pick up my helmet she comes running. If
I can't find her, I just start the bike and she comes running. I use the T Bag pet carrier which works for her length and she seems to like it being snug -- keeps her secure. Good luck!
