B-L-A-C-K, someone replaced the engine with an 04-06 engine. You have a good ol 2004 Rocket III - not a Rocket III Roadster

    fuel pump

Good job And are you sure the fuel filter is good and not the restriction?

    fuel pump

Thanks for showing us your bikes & dogs Steve. I see what you mean now re the pump, reg etc being external. I thought you had a stock tank before. Ain't no room for all the pump & reg assembly in your mini drag tank. Poor aul dogs! Why they all got cancer! :-(

    fuel pump

Not sure why you want to go away from internal pump to external? Re the reg, it is indeed a pain to get another to go in the tank, hence why I'd converted fuel system to a recirc type with an adjustable reg outside the tank several years ago. The excess fuel returns back into the tank. Can you...

    fuel pump

Sorry a mark 4 Supra so 1993 to 2002 iirc. Didn't know you were boosted, do you have dyno records or a way of logging? If you could see % duty cycle of the injectors at max, they may top out before you need a "bigger" pump. I'd say injectors will limit first then the pressure reg then the pump...

    fuel pump

Walbro GSS342 is pretty much a straight swap. Capable of much more than needed for a stock Rocket, but no issue popping it in as a replacement as the stock pressure reg will limit pressure to the standard 3 bar anyway. Also a pump from a Toyota Supra will fit straight too.

    Headlights

There is an OEM option, the ones from the Rocket 3. They're branded Triumph but actually made by JW Speaker. Pity they didn't make them adaptive while they were at it. But they do look the prettiest of all the LED options out there imo...

    Abs brake bleed question

Can't say I've ever used software to aid bleeding, and have had rear brake system apart and modified many times with no issues. There is a feature in Android TuneECU that can be used if you wish.

    2010 Roadster Ecu wanted

Well if you buy a new one you will have to bring the bike to Triumph dealer (or cowboy with Triumph diagnostics software and cable) to get it unlocked and map loaded. If you get a used one then you can trust the seller has the right map on it or load the right map yourself with TuneECU. I'd be...

What's up with your old ECU that you need a new one?

    Coughs like it has covid-19.

The ignition connections will need to be clean and tight, for sure. Might be tracking. Have a look across the top of the cam cover in the dark, you might see a very thin and very fast arc, where the current jumps to earth of the engine or something due to not being able to get through either...

    Primary Throttle position fault?

Have you done the tacho wiring mod and are you certain the adapter fly lead is plugged into the right places? Very easy mix up between speed sensor and TPS; https://www.r3owners.net/threads/how-to-replace-gear-position-sensor-gps.35212/

04 Rocket Thermo fan switches on/off more than any bike I have ever owned.

Good stuff. Sounds like it just needed bleeding. Of course the coolant is old too but that's a different story

If you have TuneECU you can see what coolant temperature it switches on and off at
