Tune ECU rocket3 GT for Australia.

3 bucks a litre for premium! Yikes. Even with the AUD/NZD conversion that seems expensive. Yes the minimum octane requirements for the Rocket is the same worldwide but I remember reading the US rate octane differently so our labelled 95 octane is equivalent to their 91 or something along those...

Our fuels are exactly the same octane wise. I think alot of your fuel comes out of our refineries. I know the yanks rate their octane content differently, like everything they measure!!

Tune ECU rocket3 GT for Australia.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. I will get the module ordered and source an android device as we are an Apple household! Then once i have the app registered i will try to connect to the bike, confirm the current map and go from there!

Tune ECU rocket3 GT for Australia.

Ok thanks for the assistance. I need to get myself an LX blue tooth module and android device i guess and have a bit of a play. Why are Tune ECU hosting maps with potential table issues on their page? Seems scary.

I would be surprised if the NZ and Australian builds aren't the same. Alot of similarities for our fuels etc.

Tune ECU rocket3 GT for Australia.

I have a 2020 GT. I am in Australia. My VIN doesn’t look like the ones outlined in the map descriptions for some reason. Probably our compliance laws.

Tune ECU rocket3 GT for Australia.

Thanks for the responses gents. So there doesn’t seem to be much difference between the Penner US and Rest of the World maps? You would expect compensations for the difference in fuel octanes etc?

Tune ECU rocket3 GT for Australia.

Hmm. This looks interesting Gentlemen. I did use tuneecu back in the day on my old 2005 Rocket. Looks like the bluetooth seems to be the biggest change. So the Penner map removes restrictions in the lower gears and makes some throttle map improvements? And in Oz we need to use the Rest of...

    GT Shifter Issue

I moved the controls forward tonight. Great design by Triumph, it took 10 mins total and that included getting the extension from the toolkit and never having done it previously. Angle is definitely better as i think the shifter will still need to be lowered slightly but i definitely have more...

    GT Shifter Issue

Thanks for the response SEPFJ. I think you are right in your thinking. The current position sort of puts me in no mans land. I know its only 25mm but that can make alot of difference when it comes to ergonomics. I will try forward and see if that gives me more of an usable angle with some...

    GT Shifter Issue

Hi All, I did a search and couldn’t find the specific answer i was looking for so apologies if this has been covered. I did my first weekend trip away on my 2020 GT and as always a 500km day will quickly highlight any ergo issues. I am running boots as most of us do, they are solid but by no...
