    Had to leave Barbers Early

There is a tuner/mechanic in Melbourne, FL that can tune your pcv or direct with TuneBoy. Atlantic Cycle Service, John is the Tech, Colin the owner. He can dyno it with the mods you have made. 321-725-8151.

    Teardrop Mirrors Won't Tighten

There should have been two metal inserts that fit around the tapered part that fits into handle bar controls. I will try to get a pic

Questions about R3R Unrestricting -- Why?

I got tune boy in '06 and installed a tune that fully opens the secondaries when you shift into gear. This makes the bike very responsive to throttle in the first two gears. Some people were physically removing the secondaries at the time which I think is a waste of time.

    Black Engines

The Black engine definitely has more horsepower than silver ones! That is as long as it is not on a red bike!

Bike died while in traffic... overheating?

From what you said about starting in neutral but not in gear, maybe you need to adjust the clutch cable. There seems to be a fine line between dragging and slipping.

Bike died while in traffic... overheating?

77f not hot at all. East coast of Florida is usually high eighty's low 90's. So you might have another problem, maybe idle speed or bad tank of gas.

    Silly question time...

I I have always wondered why it is said that the odometer is accurate while the speedo is known to be 7 percent off. When I used TB to correct the speedo my fuel mileage also adjusted. Instead of low 30's I dropped to high 20's. My standard '06 has Nev's street cams, triple k&n's, Sam's preds...

    Is this the restriction symptom

I used to hit it in third a lot when the bike was new. Tune boy let up the rev limit and open the secondaries as soon as shifting into gear.

    Rear brake pedal

t2025207 is the roadster pedal that sits level with the peg. It has a different master cylinder set up and I don't know if you can mount it to the rails of the other models. Search the part number and it will have a schematic. All the other part numbers you had were for the higher profile pedal...

    Rear brake pedal

When I bought my '06 standard I ordered the optional floorboards. This was a few months before the Classic was available and the boards sit as high as the pegs, but came with a different brake pedal and brake line. The pedal was not the large style that came with the classic. So this might be...

Thinking of putting new Exhaust System

So Scott how much are you selling the preds for? I have some pre heat shield ones with the short muffler. Would the carpenter pipes work with the stock engine since they are larger diameter? Do they burn holes in your pant legs like the preds?
