    Thanks all for the many helpful responses. Don't think there are any mods to the bike. Seems the dealer (mechanic) isn't sure of what he is doing. Owner tells me he is no longer employed. Will pass this info along and hopefully he will be in the wind soon! Thanks again

    Hi all. Trying to help out a friend with a problem on his 2008 Rocket III Touring. Took the bike to the cycle shop & was told the ignition switch was bad. After ordering the switch, the shop then told him his main wiring harness was bad. This is a Triumph shop that also represents other brands...
