    For Sale Selling Out

Sorry to hear it but time gets us all. I’m not doing so well as I see my abilities and desires fade.

Current opinions on 2up use of newer Rockets

I applaud all the efforts to make the new Rocket a two up bike but I’m not even going to try. Thankfully my wife has her own bikes and our daughter rides one of her mothers Indians. I think making a Rocket into a full day two Rider bike is like trying to make an apple taste like an orange.😅

    Tyre pressures

The designers of the bikes and tires know their products that they made, listen to that.

    My R3GT won’t start after a puncture

This is possible. It happened to me after the warranty was expired and it did cost money to replace.

    Rocket 3 - How reliable....

Mine has been very reliable but the rear brake system is prone to air getting into the line. I love mine.

When I say that these last 3 days of owning my first R3 have been the best of my life I am exaggerating, but not much

I have to admit I’m kind of fond of my Rockets too. Welcome and enjoy the forum and the bike. It is a very fun machine.

    Cleaning my Rocket GT

I like all my bikes looking good but the new Rockets are a breeze to clean compared to a full bagger like Indian or Harley.

    Heavy clutch (2021 R3R)

I think the clutch has a very light pull especially considering what the mechanism has to handle. My Recluse clutch on my Indian Springfield is buttery light and luxurious compared to the Barnett upgraded clutches on my other Indians.

Triumph's Wheelie Control System Turns You Into a Hooligan With a Safety Net

I still wheelie my Roadster occasionally and do really enjoy the ability to do that. The TFC won’t wheelie for chit and I don’t like that about the bike. This probably my biggest disappointment with the new model.

    Soft rear brake after recall

    Almost certainly.

    Yep, what they said.

    Soft rear brake after recall

I think my rear is 30% of my breaking and I just have to double hit it first thing or after a stop. Mine is tolerable but not ideal. I’ve seen less than perfection in many bikes but I do love both my Rockets.;)

    Soft rear brake after recall

I had the recall lager module put in and was fine for about a year or better but now it is returning. It does pump up with one push of the pedal but it’s still not right.

    Southern ride this Spring?

Welcome to Appalachia. These areas are considered a temperate rainforest.

Paul Bryant full system for 2.5 R3

That was a major flashback. I rode that type of machine as a kid and had my first big crash. The handlebars broke off at the bottom of the hill and I was endo. That’s when I first learned to run from the cops.;)

    F in love it. 😅

Paul Bryant full system for 2.5 R3

If only I could a fix nice carbon fiber heat shields it would be a not brained. Owning the TFC model I do like the look of the stock system.

Why are people selling their Rockets?

I have a RM too and I’ve always said the new Rocket motor in the RM would be the penultimate bike.

    It's with a heavy heart......

I was fearing you were selling the bikes.
