    Decel poping

I did get rid of the decel popping and have just been enjoying riding. Initially when I first bought the bike (used) it ran like crap, but with the help of this forum, add'l research and lots of fiddling, it now is a joy to ride. I do need to get on this forum more often, I enjoy connecting...

    Decel poping

Looks like a nice spot, when I am not riding, near Palm Trees and Beach is where I want to be(too bad doesn't usually work out like that)

    Decel poping

Tal, sounds like you live in my kind of neighborhood. I fully agree with your moto. "Your day changes when your hand grabs the throttle"

    Decel poping

Hello Frank, I too had decel popping, but I downloaded the Map 20228 thanks to the experts on this site, removed the emissions junk, balanced the throttle bodies, removed the power Commander V, installed triple K&Ns, etc. and now the bike runs great. I still have the O2 sensor turned on, I...

    Led turn signals

I replaced all the lights with leds and added an electronic flasher, works great and looks good. Only issue is the dash light doesn't blink, not a big deal though as long as everything else works.

    Exhaust Manifold Nuts

Does anyone know where to get replacement radiator shroud bolts, I guess they need to be checked often. It looks like its about 3/4 inch long, large button head.

    Led turn signals

The Touring model seems to have different turn signals than the standard, they look similar to the Harley ones. Oh well, using led bulbs and changing relay, will see how that works.

    Led turn signals

Kevin, great idea but how did you get the screws back in. I tried the radiantz leds from my Harley(similar to yours) but could not get the lens back on.

    TPS and ISCV

I discovered the issue, previous owner had the Map sensor vacuum hoses attached improperly. Two hoses to first TB and one to second. Corrected situation and much better now. Now high idle, probably need to reset TPS. It seems that fixing one issue starts another.

    TPS and ISCV

Just putting info together - that the higher the number on the TBs in Tune ECU means less vacuum. When one TB is over 800 it would be vacuum leak. The vacuum leak could be at 3 vacuum hoses(1 to Map Sensor, 2 to evap can), injector seal, rubber boot or TPS o ring. I have checked some of...

    TPS and ISCV

Warp, I did notice the injector on # 3 was situated a bit different than #1 and #2. I will pull injector and lube seals. Sleeves, I actually did exactly what you suggested with pliers for the two vac lines, not Map sensor and there was no difference. It looks like both of the vac lines go to...

    TPS and ISCV

I put them on when I removed the airbox a few months ago. I am using the 20228 tune on Tune Ecu site. Does the O2 sensor being on affect anything.

    TPS and ISCV

Nice pic of 3rd TB, mine has hoses on every vac port. The hose to Map sensor needs to stay, the other two can be plugged. Would the tune have to be reloaded do to the new TPS and the ISCV reset ad then reset adaptives. Just thinking of what else could affect the 3rd TB. I do have to say this...

    TPS and ISCV

Thanks all, I did see the 3rd vacuum port and made sure it had a good connection. Also the O ring was on new TPS so it seated properly. I do have the triple K&Ns so I don't have to put the airbox back in. The boot on TB looks in good shape, no cracks. I even crimped the vacuum lines one at a...

    TPS and ISCV

Warp, thanks again. I do have the secondaries in. I've had enough of tinkering with this bike today. I will look at the throttle plates to see if they are all aligned fairly closely. I don't get it, I rode the bike the other day with the old TPS and it wasn't bad, except for some decel...
