    Supposedly the 04 & 05 have an.even different size. Try to find a rebuild kit for either on of those years because all I've been able to find is for 06 and up. That's why I want to change to a Roadster MC .

    Are you absolutely sure you got the correct kit? In my understanding the Roadster has a larger piston than the Standard and Classics.

    Its happened to me before and its really unsettling. I struggled getting the thing to shut off. Glad neither one of us blew up.🤣

    Thats the idea. Obviously some will change but you want them to start as close to what the tune your importing has them set to. I'm come to believe that riding the bike is the best way to set adaptations after loading a new tune.

    I've had a couple of brand new batteries that were no good from day one. The ECU is set to shut down startup if it sees anything below 10.5 volts. I would also say that those early bikes have an evil starting gremlin that is best cured by the extra relay that Rocket Scientist has posted. Good luck.

    A wise man once told me that when you load a new tune your also loading the adaptations of that tune so resetting the adaptations is self defeating.

    If you call Engle Motors in Kansas City Missouri. They did the full install on a Corbin fairing and bags and may have some feedback on their experience. They did mention to me that it took some fiddling.

    Simple job to just unplug the leads now its solder and rewire with no plug for the wiring harness.
