    CORBIN Fairing serious questions

Only when a wheelie is getting away from me. :D Actually everything is rock steady. I use the GPS for the speed readout. It's a lot easier to read then the speedo, especially at night. I also use the GPS in close up to see what type of turn is coming up. Good for +135MPH. :D...

    progressive front springs ?

Mr. Todd: No issues with the fork springs. I did have a problem with the (STD) 440's being a little light for 2-up and a bike with a lot of "plastic". You know how I pack for a trip...... heavy. I changed to the 440 Heavy duty, all good now. NightRider Chriss

    progressive fork springs

Mike: Looking at this post again I now feel you were asking about a low speed "front"end wobble I incurred long ago. It also turned out to be a faulty tire, this time the FRONT. Again, once replaced all problems went away. To review, long ago I had a 'wobble" in the handle bars when hands...

    progressive fork springs

Mike: I had a new rear tire put on just before the last PA SALVO, that is when the trouble started. The dealer was good enough to check everything out but found nothing to be at fault. They then agreed to replace the rear tire once again and problem solved. A max+135MPH was "straight arrow", no...

    finding neutral

n8sv8: Try slipping the clutch in and out just a slight amount while hunting for neutral, this method works best for me. Also, find neutral just before coming to a stop. Onced stopped you can assist with a slight rocking forward and backward of your Rocket. NightRider Chriss

    Head bolt torque settings?

Indian: Do be careful with the setting you are quoting from MD. I know he has revised his quote on the torque amount. I am not sure of the final opinion or technique used but do remember there were some early problems. NightRider Chriss

    radiater coolant

Hello Hoagie; Dear.....deer....... who cares, let's get a drink. :D I am the one who needs a drink. I am out in the boat house winterizing the boat. I am behind schedule, good thing I have had the heat on or the block (LT1) would have been froze solid. The lake has 3inches of ice. Oh well...

    Bike to Bike radios?

Hi Roy: Here are some pictures that will show the antenna mounting. I have both the 2 foot and 3 foot antennas but use the short one most all the time. You can see that I used some aluminum stock to make a mounting off the end of the luggage rack. I needed to clear the GIVI top box. The...

    Staritg Problems

I run the same equipment with no problems. Do you find your new battery low on volts? Have you had the charging rate checked? I do find that when my R3 sits for a long time in very cold weather it will barley crank. I think this is due to the oil draining bank into the crankcase from the dry...

    Idle problem (slight variation)

Just for info purposes. Outside air will be sucked back into the header when loose at the flange. This will usually cause excessive popping during decell.
