    Roadside assistance

I have AMA and GEICO. Haven't personally used the former, but have used the latter many times and they're always great to deal with. Haven't had to push the towing limits yet. Last week I was in Georgia, riding a borrowed Bonneville America. On the way back to my buddy's house near Orlando...

    New Tire, Tiny Puncture

Well, I pulled the trigger on the new tire (so to speak). Kept the old one. After talking to the mechanic I'll probably just have them plug it when this one wears out.

This is what I'm running. I like them a lot.

    Leatherman, Swiss, Kershaw, CRKT etc

I have a leatherman and a super leatherman. I prefer the latter because even though it's huge the tools lock in place. The regular/original leatherman stays in the car's center console. The Super goes in the saddlebags.

    New Tire, Tiny Puncture

Quick update, the local Suzuki/Victory Dealer can not only get the tire here in 2 days, they are $4 over the BikeBandit price with the AMA discount but without shipping. So, there you go. $40 to install it if I take the wheel off, $75 if I bring them the bike. Thanks for the plug info, guys...

    New Tire, Tiny Puncture

When you plug a hole, doesn't it have to be reamed out? Won't it be much bigger than the current hole? Not saying the plug won't hold but I keep hearing (reading) stories...

    New Tire, Tiny Puncture

I'm definitely not going to throw it away. I'm just not sure what I want to do with it. Maybe after the next tire is worn I'll man up and use this one again. Maybe I'll plug it AND treat it with Ride-on. :D

    New Tire, Tiny Puncture

Well, considering I'm planning on putting over 3000 miles on it right after Memorial Day (late May), I ordered a new rear from BikeBandit, $151 (with AMA discount) plus express shipping. :: sigh ::

    New Tire, Tiny Puncture

Just put on a new set of Bridgestones just over a month ago and found a slow leak yesterday on the rear. Lost about 10psi overnight. Used the soapy water trick and found the puncture. Smaller than a nail, like a piece of wire. My dealership is 115 miles away. There's a Victory dealership...

    Whats this blank spot for?

These are the same hand controls as the America and Speedmaster. That spot is for the headlight switch. But since the headlight is required to be on at all times in most countries the switch was eliminated, replaced with that plug.

    My Tool is Rusty

Made you look. Now that I have your attention... :D:D:D ALL my tools are rusty. Literally. I was fiddling around under the seat to hook up my laptop and change maps, when I finally got around to opening the tool kit. What's the best way to deal with rusty tools and keep them from rusting...

ANYBODY install the Gas Tank KNEE PADS?

I finally installed mine today. I had another post about measuring and such. I just put the left side on first then more or less eyeballed the right side. Didn't know they would be so thick but I like them anyway. My tank was already getting scuffed in the area they protect. I also noticed my...
