Is the R3T really a piece of junk?

I purchased my R3T in 2013 and immediately did a cross country trip of over 8,500 miles with no issues. I did not ride much last year but still have over 40,000 miles in her. And I pull a Bushtec trailer on long trips loaded up. Have to figure out an issue with the cruise control speed...

    Intro

Hi Brad, welcome to the horde from Northern Michigan. I have a 2013 R3T with 42,000 miles on it. We have guys with over 100,000 on there Rockets. Do not let mileage with this engine scare you, just keep it properly maintained. As far as size goes, not an issue either. I am 5-7 and 185...

    Getting Ready

Socks I am going to miss MV. Hopefully Ginger will be riding in her trailer by next year. Taking my time getting her used to it and rolling it around. Was thinking about pulling her around the yard with the lawn tractor but she HATES the lawn tractor. Come to think of it, I am not that fond...

    Getting Ready

I know who to call to do my next service Dave. Although Fred is closer :D Is there a tool to easily separate the two halves of the speed sensor plug? Tried to get it apart to check out the connections. No go with my hands. When it was put back together I have a gut feeling it was...

    McCruise guys

Frank at McCruise believes there is an issue with the speed sensor wire. Hope I did not screw up the lead to two way terminal housing:evil::D Although it should have been caught by my tech when he tested it, I would have thought. But he probably did not get it up to 75mph. It is really a...

How far do you take it?

I always try to use Shell gasoline. In Michigan Shell is actually Sunoco with Shell additives. I have used all 3 grades at one time or another. I never use spot market fuel.

How far do you take it?

Be nice to have but I am not going to buy an I Phone or Pad. I like my Galaxy S5. Maybe they will come out with an Android version someday.
