Call Hinckley UK where they make them and they will tell you It was changed back in 2012/13 to 20k-40K-60k. I called to reaffirm something I already knew last week as the Triumph dealer out here was trying to tell me it's 10K-30-50 and says so in the book. Told him the books wrong and hasn't...
That is correct Triumph UK sent out a Bullet point Memo to all US dealers in 2012 that It had changed from 10K to 20K for the Valve check. I also called Triumph UK to confirm and was told by the guys who make them It's 20k for the valve check.
Nope, Sorry the Valve check is at 20'000 miles then 40-60-80 ect. Triumph sent out a bulletin in 2011 informing all US dealers of this change. I called Hinckley UK where they're made and they confirmed it years ago...
Valve check every 20'000 miles Oil change every 10'000 miles and that's from the guys back in Hinckley UK who make them. Oh and by the way the Mechanic I spoke to told me the Valve check service should only take about 4 1/2 hours. A certain Dealer out here quoted me 12 hrs...
It will if the screen is replaced with a taller version. I had a terrible problem with my Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide when I bought it the buffeting was killing me and it was a real uncomfortable ride untill I replaced the screen with one 3 inches taller and wallah no buffeting at all...
Fair one but my attitude is it's all about fate and if I'm destined to die at 98 in my sleep or wiped out by a Big Rig on the southbound lane of the I-15 Freeway on my rocket 111 then so be it, either way I'll be riding right up to that day.
I bought my Rocket 111 new in 2011 and 8 years later all I have had to do outside regular service was change my stock battery about 18 months ago. I tend to go through rear brake pads and Tires but I put that down to the way I ride.
R3 Roadster and you get over 11000 miles on a single rear Cobra tire? I just put Cobras on my 2011 R3T and if the rear gets anywhere close to that I'll be real happy. My previous 4 rear tires barely managed 6000 miles.
That's where I'm at Bud, I live in Escondido jump on the bike head east over the hill past Lake Henshaw and 45 minutes later I'm down into Borrego Springs then head out into the Desert where I'll be lucky to see 5 other vehicles all day...
Living here in Southern California never have any problems with the stuff, actually in a couple of months it will be cool enough for me "80-95" to head out cruisin the Desert...
