My 2025 also seems to be using oil. I've put in 2 qts in 5000 miles. No sign of drips on the garage floor, or around the gear shift gasket you all are talking about.
Ah your right, looks like the DIY scan tool only works with the 2024 and older. So far this is the only shop that I've seen offering any kind of tuning for the 2025, as the ECU is supposedly encrypted, how they get around that is the question.
Check this out:
On their website they offer the option of sending your ECU to them, or alternatively they sell a hand held unit for DIY tuning. Does this mean they've cracked the ECU code? Would this option be a good way to tune after adding an aftermarket exhaust?
Right! U.S. Models only have one sensor. I did email Werkes a few months ago when I was afraid my bike would have two sensors and they said that they are working on making an exhaust that will accommodate the extra sensor.
I know that Werkes says it doesn't need a tune but I'm still a bit leery. Also my dealer said he wouldn't put on an aftermarket exhaust without tuning. Supposedly reducing back pressure without a tune can screw up your torque.
Well looky here: (2025) Triumph Rocket 3 2500 Stage 1+ Mail-In...
Hello, I really want to upgrade to a Werkes exhaust on my Storm but am leery about doing so without tuning it. According to the TuneECU website the tuner can't read or write to the Storm, so I assume that means the ECU hasn't been figured out yet. How long do you all think it will take before...
I ended up ordering the H&B c-bow Royster bags. I was originally thinking of getting the Triumph bags but noticed on a Youtube video that they look huge and really take away the muscle cruiser looks of the bike! The Triumph bags are 25L whereas the Roysters are only 15-17 L. I guess if you...
Thanks for all the input. I did call the service advisor at my dealer and besides warning that it is "possible" that adding an aftermarket exhaust could void my warranty he would recommend that the bike be tuned after removal of the catalytic converter and addition of an aftermarket slipon...
I'm thinking of adding the werkes to my 2025 myself. Could you post a full pic of the left side to show how the left looks after removal of the cat and left pipe?
Good info A1A. I looked at my bike and found it the same as what you describe... an extra wire running down close to the cat but no direct connection to the cat. Perhaps ready for the new Euro standards but not fully implemented for U.S. models. So I guess mine is only 1 O2 sensor after all...
I have the 2025 GT Storm and would like the exhaust note to be more noticeable so cars know when I'm around. Currently I don't believe there is an aftermarket exhaust available on the 2025 because of the dual O2 sensors, but when I contacted Competition Werkes they said they are working on...
To each his own I guess. Floor boards, really? I view this bike as a muscle cruiser....if you want floor boards why not buy a Street Glide? I've had mine for a couple months now and have already put on 2000 miles. My only real complaint is that the pipes are too quiet, which for me is a...
