    Basic TuneECU Questions

Did you ever get the Penner tune flashed to your bike? I'm asking because I am planning on flashing mine soon and I am very curious about the ABS noise. I think I would feel more comfortable pulling the ABS fuse so that motor isn't running the whole time but I'd like to make sure it won't cause...

    New aftermarket rear shock!

Thanks for the info, glad to hear it's working good for you. I'm curious about the remote reservoir...is it's position adjustable? I can see from the pictures that it's close to the fender/splash guard and I know that the one from Nitron comes with spacers for the fender/splash guard to keep...

You can go to this Triumph site: Triumph Instructions.com Then just enter the product number for the peg relocation kit (A9770250) in the search field and select your language. The PDF will have the instructions for installing both the forward and mid controls.

2020 Rocket 3 GT won't start first go when cold

Mine does this but not very often. What I've noticed is that if it doesn't fire up immediately then it will just crank and never fire until I let up on the start button and push it again. It almost acts as though it's not getting any spark. If I let up on the start button and push a second time...

    Doomsday

In one of the closeup pictures it states that this is a replacement for damaged dashboard cover. I think that means you have to disassemble your instrument cluster and replace the cracked plastic with this replacement piece.

    New Oil Choice

I've been using it for a year now in my Triumph as well as my Indian and it's been great. My Indian instantly started shifting better which I think is probably due to the fact that I was switching from semi-synthetic to full synthetic. I haven't noticed any difference in the Triumph but then I...

    Ugly Side Reflectors

There is a company that makes covers to go over them if you don't want to remove them. The covers may look better than the reflectors but you still have something stuck on the side of your forks. Fork Reflectors Covers for Triumph motorcycles

Fuel cap on my R3 hissing

I've had fuel leak out from the cap twice and both times I had placed the fuel cap upside down on the top of the pump while I filled the tank. In my case it didn't gush out when I removed the cap. It just seemed to be sloshing out the vent while riding. The only way I was able to stop the...

Are you planning any mods over the winter ?

Yes. The form had several questions regarding weight, riding style, and whether you ride solo or with a passenger.

Are you planning any mods over the winter ?

I ordered it through HPS. It is the Nitron NTR R3 Race-Pro Rear Shock Absorber for Triumph Motorcycles (3 Way Adjustable) Nitron also sells cartridge upgrades for the front forks but I think most of the issues I'm having can be fixed with the rear shock...

Are you planning any mods over the winter ?

I just received my mid mount foot peg kit and my Nitron rear shock is on the way. I'll probably add in some wiring for my Garmin Zumo XT as I'm currently just using a USB adaptor plugged into the accessory port.

    Reasonable Dealer Request?

My dealer wouldn't let me test ride the new one he had on the floor for just that reason. He did however let me take a used one out for as long as I wanted. He even offered to let me take the used one home for the weekend.

    GT Shifter Issue

I'm currently trying to get the rear suspension sorted out and if I'm successful then I think the mid controls will be next on my list. The forward controls force me to lean back some which also makes the reach to the bars a bit of a stretch due to my short stature. It's not much, but I've...

    GT Shifter Issue

I have a similar problem but mine is the opposite of yours. I was having trouble getting my foot under the shift lever. I had to move the pegs to the rearmost setting which in turn moved my toes downward allowing me to get my foot under the shift lever. I still had to raise the shift lever a...
