    Yup it was the major driver behind me getting the R. When I bought the bike the waiting time for the GT was 3 months. I got the R in less than 3 weeks I think. Then specced it up to GT standard with all the add ons. I'll need to seriously consider the bars and seat now as I am really set on...

    Thanks for the reply. Looks like I may have to purchase both the bars and seat...i probably should've purchased the GT and fitted mid pegs lol.

    Hi, The GT bars are positioned at a different height/reach (obviously) so I'd be really interested to know whether you retained the stock seat or bought the GT seat? I'm 5" 10 and want to retain the mid pegs but would prefer a slightly more relaxed reach to the bars. Thanks in advance!
