    Progressive 412 Series Shocks

Just a few notes, upgrading shocks isn't a bad idea, but it should be done with some goals in mind. What are you trying to accomplish by upgrading the suspension? Is your rear suspension correctly adjusted now? Upgrading the back without consideration of the front is only tackling half the...

2026 Fall Ride, Harrison, Arkansas. October 7-12.

Finally booked a VRBO in Harrison for the 7 to 12th. I'm assuming there will be a meet up in the mornings. Looking forward to the trip.

    Front suspension upgrade

You might also consider mounting a fork brace to the upper stanchions. Doubt anyone stocks any you may have to fabricate one. I've put them on several of my bikes (my 2017 T-120 has one on now).

    Bleeding Brakes

If you got some air out of the banjo you probably have air trapped in the pump piston area. If you still have the 4-position lever, make sure it's on the longest throw to purge that out.

    Bleeding Brakes

One more note, make sure you maintain your reservoir level between upper and lower level marks when bleeding to prevent air being sucked in.

    Bleeding Brakes

The spongy feeling at the lever is air in the system. Here's another trick I've used. Take a squirt bottle spritzer and rubber band the trigger back. Then attach a bleeder hose to the caliper nipple and the other end to the spritzer tube. The spritzer is a one-way valve and will allow fluid...

    Bleeding Brakes

When you release the lever on the bar do so slooooowly. It will prevent air induction. Also try letting the system sit for a day to allow any air to migrate to the highest point. When you fill the reservoir air is mixed into the fluid as micro bubbles.

    Bleeding Brakes

If you have a bleed nipple on the reservoir perch, you need to bleed that as well. My sons-in-law's Speed Triple had the same problem until I bled that perch nipple and then they were solid as a rock.

    Does ride modes work still?

Depending on what you changed the ride modes aren't usually affected. The ETV tables have 3 listings (1,2, and 3) number 1 is rain, 2 is road, and 3 is sport. As long as you don't change anything in 1 or 2 they are not affected. What will be affected if you dorked with ANY table is cruise...

Greetings from sunny North Texas. If you live near Seattle, it's rainy there most of the year (my sister lives in Everett).

    FRONT MASTER CYLINDER REBUILD KIT

You should read the book pictured in my avatar, sounds like you're using my maintenance methodology. Disassemble to explosion point, reassemble 4 or 5 times until frustration, consternation, and rage force seeking advice.

    FRONT MASTER CYLINDER REBUILD KIT

If you had that spring reversed, you can't get any fluid down the lines. If you look at the holes at the bottom of the reservoir and actuate the brake lever you should see spring coils moving by the hole. The piston with the o-rings is the pressure boundary and the rubber cup on the spring is...

    FRONT MASTER CYLINDER REBUILD KIT

Try this, fill the reservoir to the upper mark and cap. Let sit for 24 hours and then check fluid level. If it's the same level after 24 hours your system is air bound, if not, then your system should bleed on the next attempt.

    Is this normal wear?

The compound distribution in the tire can also affect how fast it wears. The softer stuff is usually on the outside of the tread where centrifugal forces are greatest to maximize the frictional surface. Riding straight up the compound can be harder since it doesn't have any lateral g-load.

    TPMS Problem

The simplest answer is to simply turn it off if you can. The problems you describe are known by the factory. You might have your dealer contact his factory rep and see if they have a solution coming in the near future. Since I don't have the TPMS I'm doing it old school with a pressure gauge...

Found a solution to my big ugly backrest

My brothers Mark and Pierce have Goldwings, and Mark's son Jeremy has a Goldwing and they love them. I've worked on Pierce's GW and it's "involved" to do anything on that bike. Mark and I put the lower cowling light kit in it and that turned out to be an all-day project.
