    i put in triumph rocket 3 rear seat, ive just tried it again and we are down four, enjoy tour test ride, im sure getting a rear seat wont be a problem. a backrest is essential for pillions if you dont want to lose them😊 my mate used to hate going on the back untill i put a backrest on it.

    take a look on ebay there are five rear seats in the uk ranging from 40 to 80 quid. and a backrest and rack for £250, type in ( Triumph Rocket Roadster 111 Chrome rear rack And Back Rest ) and it should pop up.

    hi, great choice of bike, i bought a kawasaki Z1000A1 from kendal back in the eighties, took it for a test ride and got stuck in a one way system, when i eventualy found my way back to the owner he said he was asbout to call the police he thought id nicked it lol.

    its a sleeve with a 12mm thread on the outside and 10mm thread on the inside so it would screw into the end of your risers which would then take a 10mm bolt. but i have just realised the 1.25 pitch is the fine pitch for 12mm threads your risers are more likely 1.50 or even 1.75 coarse pitch...

    no bulb,they are led, check the connections going to the clocks before you try to get into them. if you take the clocks out of the housing you can manipulate the plastic housing and get the rim/top off. i cant be more specific its about 12 years since i did it and the outcome was not a good...

    iv just looked on googlies and they reckon all vehicles made after 2011 should be e10 compatible , my rockets an 05 so im planning on avoiding e10 where ever possible.

    here is a pic of my tribal rocket from the uk, just for info triumph did not paint the tribal bikes the work was subed out to a company called dream machine paint in the uk, triumph told me this when i called them for paint codes.

    yeah i didnt realise the zards ever had them, ive seen the dave platts and they deffo have been cans. mine came with a removable baffle in the end can and they live in the shed. maybe i bought the racing version by mistake coz it was cheaper.

    i was thinking of the map the pcv comes with but i might be wrong (it has been known but i rarely admit it) im going to try the zwuggl map off the tune ecu site its standard pipes no cat and triple k&n and keep an eye on things. cheers for your input and ive not ruled out the gizzmo yet il see...

    just had a look on fleabay and im likeing the description,i take it i keep my 02 sensor so when im cruising il still get all of my 32 mpg.. oh yeah and only one more dumb question does it need the standard map to work properly a bit like a pcv.

    cheers for the info, i think il stick with the small loss of horses rather than a large loss of £££££££s. ive just fitted the ramair fillter but if the exhaust is a restriction it may not need a remap/ 02 delete il just check the plugs after a tank or two of fuel.
