    I'm not a mechanic, but my understanding is there are two TP sensors, one towards the front of the bike, and one towards the back. I think I've read it's the front TPS that is usually the bad one, but it's an old bike so I replaced both.

    I had that problem with my '05, and replacing the TPSs (I replaced both) fixed it.

    I have an '05 and am 230 lbs and even on the softest setting the rear shocks rode too hard. I replaced them with Progressives and the ride is better.

    I think 42 is too high. I'm guessing the manufacturer is covering its ass in the event of a blowout due to high, sustained speeds, in hot weather. If you ride like that, then 42 is good. Otherwise, at 42 there is less rubber contacting the road and therefore less grip for braking and cornering...

    I don't have a screen for my Rocket, but I do have one for my Valkyrie - a National Cycle SwitchBlade screen, which is nice if you like to quickly and easily swap the screen on and off. I too like to ride around town without a screen, but with one for longer trips.
