Another Exhaust Thread (Vandemon Headers) with Installation Pictures

Sounds like you're getting it sorted. I like the look and sound of the Vandemon's but I'm not real crazy about their pricing.

    Asymmetrical front tire wear

Don't know it's either case, but if the front wheel is offset between fork legs there has to be a reason. The spacers (8 in diagram) for the front wheel, part# T2000227, are the same on both sides. You might take a caliper and measure both spacers when you pull the front wheel to verify.

    Hello from Mesa AZ

Greetings from sunny North Texas. The only downside is the cost. The Vandemon's are beautiful, sound great but are 2 to 3 times the price of their competition.

    Asymmetrical front tire wear

I saw on a different forum where someone over torqued a front axle and crushed one of the spacers. That is probably not the case here, but a wrong spacer could be an issue.

Just put a deposit down on a mint 2022 R3 GT

Before you get the mids installed try moving the pegs to the most rearward position, it that feels better you may want to keep the parts handy in case you feel like changig it up later, Congrats on the new wheels. Kinda makes that Sportster S feel anemic doesn't it.

They don't touch, however it doesn't take a lot of effort to get them on the ground, it's once it's going vertical that you feel the weight. My Speed Triple has crash protectors for this kind of thing: and being 430 lbs dripping wet, not hard to pick up.

I finally managed to scuff the right foot peg 'bank angle indicator' this morning while out riding. Sadly I was going 0 mph when it occurred. I'm sure it's much more thrilling to scrape that little bobbin going around a corner or sharp bend than it is to watch the bike fall over when the motor...

    Brake Bleeding using Tune ECU

The procedure is for bleeding the brakes through the ABS modulator, it's the same procedure whether you replace the ABS modulator or not. The only delta might be back bleeding if the system hasn't been opened. As to Hill Hold, that actuates when the FRONT lever is squeezed REGARDLESS of rear...

    Brake Bleeding using Tune ECU

I'm curious about your view of "integrated" since the front brake lever applies pressure to the rear caliper? I'm using the term as a broadly based engineering concept, perhaps a better term would be combined braking system: Web definition: Motorcycle integrated brakes, often referred to as...

    Brake Bleeding using Tune ECU

Any particular reason why? Works on my other ABS Triumphs. UPDATE: When confused (like I usually am) I consulted the work shop manual and found on page 1218 the procedure for dealing with installation of the ABS modulator. The important steps are these: 1. Position the ABS modulator onto...

    Heat Shielding Experiment

Well my new Motocomposites heat shields are on and I noticed they offset from the header about 1/4" more than the OEM metal shields. They are foil backed so my guess is they won't explode into flame. If they can get the furnace temperature down to just mildly unpleasant from its open pit roast...

Yes. You'll need to navigate to Tests and Adjustments. Here's a video on how to do it:

How to add mid pegs with front peg controls without buying midpeg mounts

That's because they ride these kind of bikes every day: Both of these bikes will out corner my Rocket, the RS almost pulls as hard as my Rocket too, but neither one of them has everything my Rocket does.

I use a static balancer myself. My brother uses a ball bearing style balancer (Centramatic) on his Goldwing and swears by it.

Early 2.5 with 30,000+ miles - anything to be aware of?

Prepare to be disappointed. The amount of 'wrench time' on these bikes is usually limited to adding farkle and bling, not doing repairs or maintenance.
