I went out today with Texas-Hooligan for about a 2-hour ride on our Bobbers. Haven't spent that much time in the seat on that bike in months, got a bit of a sore bum from the deal, BUT I felt fine afterwards so definitely an improvement. I think the Rocket fits me better because I don't feel...

    Cooee everyone!

The 'beast' can take off in 3rd gear with enough clutch slip. And the 2.5 liter bikes pull even harder (especially after installing Ulf Penner's tune, yeehaw!)

    Map Required for my 2004

The map database in TuneECU should get you started: You can rummage around in the custom maps database and maybe find a bit more power: Make sure your base map is akin to the custom maps.

    Cooee everyone!

Greetings from sunny North Texas. I'd be more concerned with controlling my right wrist than either of my legs if I hadn't been on a bike in years. Rockets are torque monsters and can get you sailing down the road at warp factor 3 in a blink, be careful out there.

Rear wheel bearing, has this been solved?

It may not be the bearings at all. Did you check the spacer tube dimensions before reinstallation? Also, the clicking could be the caliper carrier on the torque reaction bolt if there is any drag on the disk from the pads. The bearings themselves are pretty robust so if they are coming apart...

    Rear brake pads

If you're doing it right the rear pads should last a long time since mostly front braking is optimal. I believe it was Keith Code stated in "Twist of the Wrist" that 85% of all braking force is at the front (hence twin disks).

    Bike wouldn’t start 2020 GT

If you have two fobs for the same bike in your pocket you can also have this problem. My Speed Triple is different enough I don't need to turn it off when I ride my Rocket, but that may not be true for everyone else.

    Bike wouldn’t start 2020 GT

Are you sure you have the FOB turned on? I turn mine off to save the battery and will from time to time forget to turn it back on until the bike acts like the FOB is missing.

Yeah, I was having a blast on it until I couldn't see straight. Next year I'll be in better shape, fingers crossed! I really wanted to try those roads on my Speed Triple too, dang the luck.

How did it compare? I have the foot pegs pulled all the way back and an Ulf Penner tune in it.

I'm not as legendary as Lupe thinks I am, but it was fantastic to meet you Lupe, and a great big thank you for taking care of my GT when I got sick. Hope my bike held up better than I did.

    Don't Do Double Rides!!

This is a long read so patience: The thread title may seem a bit odd, but having just done one, I'm against them. A ride is when you go from point A where you start to point B, where the ride ends, a double ride however is the same two points but two different vehicles. My double ride was on my...
