    I still have gen 1 with no issiues whatsoever. Took a bit to get seated when fitting and lifting the tank is a must. But having said that it was easier than some filter boots I've fitted on other bikes.

    Thank you for the clarification. I always thought Roadsters had the cats in the crossover ,but seeing as they are running a 3 into 2 system like the Touring now it does make perfect sense.

    As far as I know the Roadster cats are in the crossover. The Touring cats are in the pipes.

    You are correct, I keep saying cat bypass where I should be saying that I swapped out the crossover. I don't know how restrictive the stock crossover is on the Touring and I didn't compare to see what gains it made as I don't have free access to a dyno.

    I'd say yes and do the TOR’s / Map now while the bikes still under warranty. Then maybe at 5 - 10,000 mi I would then start thinking Cat Bypass , Ramair , TuneBoy Dyno and stick with the TOR’s . I have done the above mods on my R3T and have no passion or reason to change the TOR’s for higher...

    Valid point....I live in the tropics where 100mm/ 4inches of rain is not uncommon , I have been caught out at times but vision seems to be the priority. Water intake has never been a concern or problem riding under these conditions for me. May a different story for those on a race track though.

    I have a laser helmet and a cheaper brand....I've done 1500 kms in one day with the laser with no problem...I wouldnt be able to say that about the cheaper brand helmet though...true story no bull****!!! Thats exhaust related though havnt noticed much dif with the air filter even with the crap...
