    New R3s

I'm with you in "ho-hum" First glance I though this would be great but... my issues with it are firstly the 300mm shorter wheelbase I haven't seen one but think it will be overall much smaller I fit my R3 perfectly now. Secondly I like to be able to tie lots of stuff on for touring and cant see...

    Distilled water

Yep I work in the water treatment industry, we build all sorts from pools to water for injection plants. Pure water (deionized, distilled, permeate, etc) is incredibly corrosive (we have to label its a non potable and not for consumption, although in some instance doctors will prescribe it to...

    Surging @3000rpm

Gday and hope this helps. Your in Thailand? bet there wont be any dealer help over there? and no other forum members locally to help. Looks like you need to get that value between the TPS and Stepper sorted. Not sure if this will work but this is how I would start with this. Clean down...

    Ramair tune?

Sorry but (and no offence to anyone, there's a lot of misinformation out there) no it wont be. I get tired of repeating this on thread after thread. 1. Yes it will be sufficient......If your planning on just letting the bike idle in neutral in the garage. 2. The 12 minute "tune" is NOT a tune...

    It’s got to me

No its not a coincidence, remember, we live in a disposable world now (but i dont have that much disposable income). Your supposed to chuck it away and get a new one after three years. The manufacturers and marketing try and tell you this and build things accordingly. I mean come on, they...

    New R3 Production Model

I always thought a GT car was a "Grand Tourer" sort of designed to do comfortable high speeds for long time but with enough space for luggage. However my wife has a GTI in Europe the are called a GTI Clubsport. I tend to agree with you its not really a GT car, my backside goes to sleep after a...

    Installed Pauls header (with pics)

Hi Tal I just picked up on this post been offline for a while. No you cannot disable the AIT to my knowledge as this feeds into the main bike ECU. There are also other items that, unless you can get into the coding of the actual software in the bike, (much more than is available through...

I'm still running my PCV AT and mapping by pressure it works really nicely.

    Installed Pauls header (with pics)

Only at idle Norm, no effect once revs pic up. Also no effect at all if PCV and AT installed as narrow band O2 sensor would be removed

    Looking for rear tire

Ok Good news for me the price they gave me was for both the front and rear tyre by the looks of things so i can live with this. Comms error.

    Looking for rear tire

    Looking for rear tire

Not in NZ mine just cost me $630 for a rear tyre with the front total came to a grand :mad:thinking of ditching both my R3s as having trouble justifying rubber prices. Maybe back to my old 79 Bonneville only.

    Unleashing the beast

The bikes stock O2 sensor is a narrow band so it can only detect lean/stoic.rich. It cannot measure as such. When you due the 12 minute "tune" you are only at idle and in neutral. So the ecu looks at the operation in neutral and at idle and goes "Am I rich, good, or lean?" then trims. This has...

    Unleashing the beast

Sorry 12 minute tunes only good for idle/real low revs really has no effect on tuning. Next and cheapest step is Tune ECU and a cable. New map and open up secondary throttles. Then your on the way to unleashing it. After that as above with Viking crossover pipe.
