I finally managed to scuff the right foot peg 'bank angle indicator' this morning while out riding. Sadly I was going 0 mph when it occurred. I'm sure it's much more thrilling to scrape that little bobbin going around a corner or sharp bend than it is to watch the bike fall over when the motor stalls at an intersection taking off due to too much clutch and too little gas and the bike falls over landing on your right leg (cushion). The right side mirror took the brunt of it and I have a couple scratches now on the exhaust cans, but that's about it. I think I lost more skin dragging my leg from under the bike than anything else. Passersby helped me right the beast and no real damage done other than to my ego and epidermis. Still went on my planned ride with son-in-law Tom afterwards (altho I did contemplate switching bikes to my Speed Triple, because that one I can pick up all by myself). So the bike's actually fine, will need some cosmetic touch up. My leg's skin may take a few days to recover fully, and other than that it was a great ride this morning, wonderful temps, light traffic, fewer than normal bozos on the road. So I had a fall, that's a drat.
