Rocketeer in waiting. Hi from Munich, Germany

I'm rather new here myself, but if I could, welcome from Texas. Well said. I've been enjoying mine everyday.

    Does any one know?

Correct. Its like a bushing and the allen bolt goes through the bushing and screws into the radiator holding the plastic chrome cover on. The bushing helps you not tighten down to tight and brake the cover. But this is my guess not knowing more about your ride.

Maybe for top crhome covers over radiator?

    Gas mileage

Not sure what my R3R w/shield gets but I now have a need to find out. Its so easy to push 90 on the bike and so freaking smooth. I'll try to keep it around 75 for a good test.

    Detent Spring R&R

TexasCoyote rides again! I completed the detent spring replacement. I rode over 100 miles today and nothing broke or leaked. 😮 Not sure if this is possible, but it feels and switches better than when I bought it. Could the spring had gone weak or stretched prior to it breaking? Putting it...

    Detent Spring R&R

Knowing me, I probably will not scrap it. I will put in my museum of OLD tools. 😁

    Detent Spring R&R

I have not torqued those yet. I will finish those up today. So you think its time for a new wrench? 🤣

    Detent Spring R&R

I have an older model torque wrench that is missing it's plastic needle. How important is applying the 105 Nm (77.44 ft lbs) on the 22 mm clutch basket nut?

    Detent Spring R&R

I believe these guys will ship international but may be a little slow. https://www.triumphestore.com/aboutcontact.aspx This place (local to me) got me the part the next day. I picked them up. Let me know if you have issues. I might be able to get them shipped to you if its legal to do so...

    Detent Spring R&R

I am just about to close mine back up. It was rather easy. I will calculate my cost, but if you have the time and the tools do it yourself. Around $7 USD for the detent spring; I bought a cover gasket around $15 USD but may not need one; I didn't save the coolant or the oil and filter, so...
