    Hi, one of these clips fell out of the rear calliper. I can't work out where this one goes. The other one sits under the piston, as you can see. Anyone? Oh, that clip that is in it is on the wrong side, I think. I just noticed.

    Hi, and thanks for the offer. The lower tube on the right side of the box broke off at the weld. It was my fault; I was heavy-handed pulling the exhaust off. I just bought another one. I tried to have it welded, but it had a bad weld.

    OK folks, I just purchased this bike. I was reading up on the gearbox problems, and it sounds ominous. Mine has done 34k. If it has a bad build, when does it show? Can mine still fail at this mileage?

    It's poorly in my lockup at the mo. I'll get one when it's rolled out again. I fitted a new rear tyre. The pads needed doing, and one inlet on the collector box cracked off. So, when I've sorted that, I'll post some. Oh, I did the drive splines; they were bone dry. Some folk don't deserve bikes.

    Yeah I watch that. A lot of work involved for a hobby mechanic without the correct presses, etc. Still, well done.

    I got the '06 model. What sort of mileage did you have on it before it went bang? Mine has done 34k, so hopefully it's a good un. Seems to be pot luck on who gets a bad un.
